Job Description Site Rep / Deck Foreman (HLO) 5th Week with Stork:
Position is on a 2/3 rotation working on a premier offshore oil platform in a 5th week capacity as Site Rep and Deck Foreman/ HLO positions as part of the Core Platform Services Team.
Deck Foreman/ HLO 1st week of trip
To coordinate Stork offshore Deck Crew to deliver safe and efficient deck operations on board the Platform. To lead & supervise Deck Crew to ensure procedural compliance with industry standard and Client procedures. The Deck Foreman is also responsible for providing logistical, rigging and general support to other departments.
Required to act as the appointed platform HLO, organising the safe coordination/ operation of the helideck. This includes conducting routine safety checks/ maintenance of the firefighting equipment.
Reports to Stork Site Rep, and liaises with various department heads including, Materials Controller for management of inbound/ outbound cargo.
Site Rep – 2nd week of trip
Leads and coordinates all Stork personnel on board, ensuring satisfactory delivery of Stork Platform Support Services to the client including, Scaffolding, Deck Operations, Rigging & Lifting, LOLER, Helideck Operations, Insulation and Painting.
To promote and encourage Stork offshore teams safety performance through coaching, mentoring, site visits, and participation in safety initiatives.
Reports to Platform OIM/ Superintendent and Stork Onshore Focal Point. Liaises with department heads to provide support, progress updates & communicate potential issues that arise.
Tasks And Responsibilities As Site Rep / Deck Foreman (HLO) 5th Week:
Create A Safe and Compliant Environment
- Provide proactive and visible HSE leadership to the Service team workforce
- Demonstrate commitments to safety through language, behaviour and actions
- Demonstrate recognition and responsibility for safety compliance of CNOOCS values and Site Safety standards
- Promote and encourage team safety performance through worksite visits and participation in tool box talks
- Promote and encourage environmental compliance and improvement initiatives
- Lead and participate in accident and incident investigations where required and share lessons learned
- Hold and lead a Services Safety Meeting on each offshore rotation
- Conduct and participate pro-actively in relevant audits as directed by OIM
Planning
- Ensure work scopes are prepared appropriately to ensure successful delivery
- Ensure that resource requirements are identified and deployed as necessary to deliver all operations activities.
Staff Management and Performance
- Communicate corporate and project specific goals to all team members.
- Overall responsibility for Services team delivery of Platform support through Stork offshore personnel.
- Overall responsibility for the performance and discipline of Stork offshore personnel.
- Facilitate and encourage, with support of HR, professional development of employees in line with operational plans.
- Encourage growth and development of the Services team by appropriate delegation of responsibility and authority as well as assist all personnel with development, mentoring & coaching.

Minimum Training Requirements / Specialist Skills
- OPITO Banksman Slinging Level 3
- OPITO Rigging & Lifting stage 3
- Helideck Emergency Team Leader (HERTL)
- CAA Radio Certificate
- Dangerous Goods by Air Awareness Training
- Offshore Survival (FOET)/ Current UKOOA ERT Medical/ MIST
Experience
- Considerable relevant experience in an offshore Supervisory/ Team Lead position
