Job Description Competency Co-ordinator with Stork:

To support in the overall delivery of Stork business objectives, whilst implementing departmental procedures in line with Company Standards.

Tasks And Responsibilities As Competency Co-ordinator:

Administration

  • Co-ordinate training for Assessors and Verifiers where necessary, booking accommodation and sending out joining instructions
  • Submit all completion details from assessments into Competency Database
  • Submit and file completed assessments into individual Pathway files

Support all Departments

  • Support projects/departments in all aspects pertaining to the competency management system
  • Attend pre-project briefs advising on competency process if and when required
  • Assist in the verification of competency profiles where no verifier exists within the project team
  • Submit competency review report for designated projects/departments
  • Liaise and support all operations personnel / assessors / verifiers involved with the assessment process

Business Requirements

  • Ensuring maintenance of confidentiality and compliance with the Data Protection Act
  • Frequent review of the relevant departmental policies and procedures, ensuring they align to specific business requirements as well as Legal and regulatory body requirements
  • Issue employee Individual Development Plan to relevant STS Manager after assessment and verification for comments
  • Participate in the company PP&D process setting objectives/goals for personal development and training needs in line with position

General Competency Duties

  • Assist in the archiving process where necessary
  • Assist with filing, creating reports, preparation of presentations and minute taking
  • Flexibility to undertake additional duties, as required in line with the position

  • Excellent communications skills
  • Medium level of Microsoft packages
