Underwriting Executive (Marine) – Dublin- Permanent – €25,000 – €35,000

An opportunity has arisen with a leading marine insurance company for an Underwriting Executive to join their busy team.

This will be a relatively junior position in the team and duties will involve Underwriting P&I, FD&D and war risk insurance on behalf of policy holders and brokers. You will handle full range of underwriting services from new inquiries, amendments and cancellations through to renewals.

Due to the marine insurance market being very specialist, applicants do not have to have previous experience with marine insurance/ P&I. Applicant should have either; experience in underwriting within a different insurance market OR, good knowledge and experience within the maritime sector with an interest to move in to insurance underwriting.
