Marine Technicians/Mechanics – Netherlands – Permanent – £Depending on experience

As Technician you will oversee the fleet maintenance and repair, driving instructions delivered to customers before cruising during the client’s summer season from March to October.

Fleet Maintenance & Repair
Maintenance and repairs on engines, pumps, batteries, hydraulic and electrical connections, equipment and accessories installations and possibly hulls etc.

Driving instructions
Driving instructions are delivered to customers before cruising following company standards. Technician will also oversee instructing customers of the safety rules and regulations.

Breakdowns
By rota, technicians will handle customers breakdowns during their cruise. Intervention will need to be effective with immediate technical solution guaranteeing customer’s safety.

SKILLS

• Mechanic professional education desirable
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar position with good knowledge of boats engines
• Able to read specification and diagram
• Boat License required
• Customer orientated
• Fluent English and other languages would be a plus

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

• Work on weekends, bank holidays & school holidays – Resting day taken during the week
• Daily working hours may be subject to company and customers’ needs
• Support to other operation bases may be envisaged
• Customer car transfers when needed
• Potential travel to support other operational bases
• Breakdown permanence day
• Accommodation (on the clients boats) and travel is provided
