I have a unique and exciting opportunity to join a one of the leading carriers in the global container shipping industry. My client is looking for a Country Manger to join their office in Bucharest.

The main purpose of the role will be to lead and direct all day to day activities of the country driving the business to profitability, new level of excellence, efficiency, effectiveness and high-level customer service.

The day-to-day duties of the Country Manger will include but are not limited to:

• Growing the country customer base by providing outstanding customer service and building long lasting relationships.
• Oversea logistics and port operation activities including the management of cargo flow polices.
• Manage finances according to local regulations with an overall responsibility for working capital and financial statements.
• Business Development for the brand in the local and wider market.

The ideal Country Manger will have 15 years’ experience in container shipping at a senior management level. As well as this the Country Manger must be fluent in English and the local language.
