Job Description W2W Technical Assistant with Stork:

This is an offshore technical role and the main responsibilities will be an assistant to the management team on board Kroonborag. (with rotational onshore work – 2 weeks out of six offshore and 1 week onshore – Great Yarmouth)

Tasks And Responsibilities As W2W Technical Assistant:

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Assisting MOM/MEC/OIM preparation of upcoming campaign during office week.
• Assisting MOM/MEC on shift with any technical issues if required.
• Ensure all work packs are printed out (FP/FC / History/PS/Appendix) for coming mission during office week.
• Take care of logistics for office week.
• Supporting the Maintenance Execution Coordinator (MEC) with completion of Z1, Z6 and M3 notifications mobilising personal for KBG, check all training for base crew and vendors is present and cooperate with scheduler / NamAir Marine Logistics during.
• Support and assist the execution staff in their day to day process.
• Arrange logistical movements during mission if required.
• Responsible ordering and issuing base crew PPE together with Matco.
• Assist with emergency evacuation procedures, medivacs & compassionates as requested by MEC / MOM
• Learning MEC (maintenance supervisor) role for possible future development.
• Ensure all work to be executed complies with the offshore QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) responsibilities.
• Prepare work in SAP and compile hardcopy work packs where necessary as per work preparatory roles and responsibilities.
• Liaise with MEC regarding design innovation, cost reduction solutions and identify areas where suitable improvements can be made.

Specific Requirements For W2W Technical Assistant:

Desirable Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum 3 years industry experience
• Computer Literate
• Apprenticeship served with relevant trade qualifications HNC/ONC
• Basic SAP knowledge

Working conditions

Location: Offshore (with rotational onshore work – 2 weeks out of six offshore and 1 week onshore – Great Yarmouth)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
