Marine Assistant – Permanent – London – £30k plus benefits

The purpose of this role is to support the London marine and operational team with administrational support.

  • Reporting to the head of marine operations, responsibilities include
  • Provide admin support as required to include; Photocopying, managing Incoming / Outgoing post, preparing letters, filing etc.
  • To maintain an efficient system for the receipt, circulation, filing and dispatch of all correspondence including telephone calls and messages.
  • Ad hoc billing by raising ad hoc invoices and credit notes via UDC billing
  • To ensure that you project a positive and professional impression at all times.
  • To compile and agree annual objectives with your line manager, and to be responsible for achieving all actions.
  • Assume the role of DPA when needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial, payroll and other administrations.
  • Take care of facility management and give secretarial support.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3+ years office experience within the Marine industry
  • Competent with Microsoft office applications.
  • Good numerical and verbal skills
  • Previous administration experience in a busy environment
  • Previous experience as a PA is desirable
  • A flexible ‘can do’ attitude
