Ship Manager (Dredgers) – Permanent – South, UK – £50k – £58k plus car & benefits

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading marine aggregate as a Ship Manager based in Chichester.

Working as part of the Marine Management team, this will include maintaining the safe and economic performance of assigned vessels to ensure that utilisation of these key assets is maximised, leading safety, health and environmental performance and driving a culture of high performance. The role includes the preparation of repair and maintenance specifications, detailed planning to ensure that budgetary requirements are accurately forecast, monitored and maintained to minimise vessel downtime and OPEX.

Ideally you will hold a Class 1 CoC and have sailed in a senior seagoing role. Previous shore based experience is highly desirable. A proven history of managing complex docking projects and electronic planned maintenance systems is a necessity, together with excellent management and IT skills.
