Job Description Corporate HSE Technical Assistant with Stork:

Provide HSE systems and administrative support to the Global Director HSE and the Corporate HSE Team.

This role is an entry level role into a career in HSE. It requires an efficient administrator who is experienced in arranging international travel, diary management, preparation of documents (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and associated administrative support for a small corporate team. IT aptitude is essential, the incumbent will be trained in the use of global HSE software (GIMS, SPIMS). Positive, can-do attitude. Excellent organisational and prioritising skills.  

Tasks And Responsibilities As Corporate HSE Technical Assistant:

Administration

  • Develop skills in HSE reporting system (GIMS & SPIMS) and SharePoint to support HSE Systems & Communications Manager
  • Support HSE communications campaigns/ HSE Week/ Surveys and similar initiatives.
  • Plan travel for team, arrange and confirm bookings, ensure any changes managed.
  • Manage Global Director HSE’s diary, schedule meetings, process expenses, meet and greet visitors, logistics support for on and off site meetings (invitations/ rooms/ catering/ logistics), team leave
  • Provide administrative support to team (documents, filing, meeting organization)
  • Build a good working relationship with admin focal points in Stork global offices
  • Support IT/ phone/ printing issues to ensure team can operate with minimum interruption
  • Ensure office supplies for team are procured.

Skills

Education / Training

  • Excellent written and spoken english skills
  • Proficient in Word/ Excel/ Outlook/ PowerPoint
  • SharePoint and/ or HSE Reporting experience an advantage
  • NEBOSH Certificate an advantage, training will be provided

Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
  • HSE awareness & personal involvement
  • International travel booking/ visa preparation
  • Professional and efficient approach
  • Experience of working in a small team
