Job Description Recruitment Team Leader with Stork:

Develops and implements programs to recruit across both Onshore and Offshore Recruitment to ultimately ensuring we achieve our organisations business requirements.  Establishes general hiring standards for all classes of employment across a wide variety of markets.

Tasks And Responsibilities As Recruitment Team Leader:

Recruitment Onshore & Offshore

  • Ensure that all contractual employment documentation and processes are in keeping with current legislation and are updated on a regular basis.
  • Establishes and monitors hiring standards and practices and design and administers recruiting programs.
  • Implement strategies to make the selection process more efficient.
  • Maintaining communications links between Hiring Managers, Project Delivery Teams, HR Department, Logistics and our Training and Competency Department.
  • Reactive to varying personnel requirements and ensuring only technically competent personnel are recruited in accordance with Stork and Client Minimum Standards.
  • Ensuring functional areas are adequately supervised and continual succession is maintained and reporting accordingly.

Business Planning & Reporting

  • Responsible for the delivery of the Recruitment & Resourcing Pending Standby and Redundancy Budget.
  • Creates weekly reports on recruitment process and developments in order to share results and insights with internal stakeholders, in this specific case being Senior Management/Contract Delivery Managers and/or hiring managers.
  • Creates monthly reports on funnel information, developments and insights in order to compare results and when necessary decide on interventions for full alignment with functional business needs.
  • Ensures regular review and reporting of progress in realization of strategic plans, business plans and financial results.

Internal and External Management

  • Provides direction and leadership on recruitment issues to relevant staff in the Business Line to ensure best levels of service and delivery and making sure all companies recruiting policies, processes and standards are followed at all levels
  • Review and evaluate effectiveness of recruitment and resourcing programs across Onshore & Offshore Recruitment.
  • Maintain contact with local service providers and external agencies and employment agencies regarding the recruitment process within the region.

People Management

  • Provides direction and leadership to Recruiters to ensure operational efficiency of their respective areas of control to ensue best levels of service and delivery.
  • Manages the recruitment team’s time and progress, and constantly focuses on delivery maximum added value
  • Ensures and implements adequate resources and structure to fill positions and effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensures effective collaboration and cooperation within the Recruitment Team in order to achieve commitment and effective implementation of recruiting practices.
  • Ensure that technical knowledge is retained and developed within the Recruitment & Resourcing Team.

HSEQ

  • Compliance and commitment to Stork’s Policies and procedures.
  • Compliance and commitment to Stork’s Reach and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Promote an awareness of the legislative requirements surrounding HSEQ aspects pertaining to their team and area of responsibility.
  • Support quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Support continuous improvements and act on lessons learned.

Specific Requirements For Recruitment Team Leader:

Education

  • HNC/D/Degree and/or appropriate level of exposure at a supervisor level within a multifunctional organisation.

Experience

  • Well-seasoned professional who understands the organization's needs, knows the available resources, and organizes programs to effectively supply the organization's needs
  • Recruitment experience, with a minimum of 5 years in commercial environments
  • Specialist recruitment experience in the offshore industry.
  • Extensive Resourcing and/or recruitment experience
  • Similar experience in a recruitment and supervisory position within the oil and gas industry
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work on own initiative, anticipate requirements and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work under supervision and under pressure
  • Working knowledge of employment law in relation to recruitment and its implementation
  • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills.
