Oracle Database Developer – Portsmouth, Hampshire – Permanent – Competitive Salary + Benefits

Due to expansion Navis’ leading client in the Defence Technologies and Maritime sector is looking for Oracle Database Developers to create and maintain software to help develop critical products for their clients. Candidates should have good working experience in Database Development, with a strong drive for the successful delivery of objectives.

Your main responsibilities will involve:

Developing maintainable solutions to meet requirements.

Integrating solutions with COTS (Commercial off the Shelf) products.

Take ownership for developing, implementing and executing your delivery plan.

Be involved in or create technical proposals and documentation.

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential:

Experience in Dimensional Modelling

Strong SQL & PL/SQL development

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience with Data Modelling

Understanding the basics use of BI tools

ERP Development Experience

Experience with Data Analysis

Experience of Oracle Web Services

Eligability for SC Clearance is essential for this role.
