Navis’ leading client in the Defence Technology and Maritime industry currently has a position available for a Senor BI Developer to join their growing team in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in a positive and creative work environment and assist in creating and maintaining software to help develop critical products for end clients.

Your main responsibilities will involve:

Integrating solutions with COTS (Commercial off the Shelf) products.

Developing maintainable solutions to meet requirements.

Taking ownership for developing, implementing and executing your delivery plan.

Be involved in or create technical proposals and documentation.

Provide mentoring to more junior developers in the team.

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential:

Extensive knowledge and experience of IBI WebFOCUS 8.x

Experience in HTML & Java Script

Experience in Oracle or MSSQL

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience in jQuery and CSS

Team leadership/Scrum Master experience

ERP Development Experience, especially SAP HANA

Experience in Source Control such as BitBucket, Git or SVN.

Exposure to Atlassian Jira and Confluence
