Electrical Superintendent (LNG) – Permanent – North, UK – Excellent package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a global shipping company based in its UK office.

The purpose of this role is to provide guidance to the Fleet Managers, Superintendents, and Management on electrical matters arising from the management of the ships.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing electrical maintenance and repair standards
• Supervising electrical maintenance and repair activities during repair periods in dock and afloat
• Managing electrical, communications & navigational equipment service engineers
• Conduct task specific HazID & HazOP risk assessments
• Assist with the preparation and monitoring of electrical aspects of OPEX budgets
• Coordinate activities of the onboard electrical & automation offices

Experience / Qualifications Required:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Seagoing experience as ETO
• LPG / LNG experience (strongly preferred)
• Experience in a similar role ashore
