Insurance Claims Handler (Marine) – North East UK – Permanent – Competitive Salary DOE

A unique opportunity has become available for an established maritime professional to transition in to the specialist area of handling marine insurance claims.

My client is looking to hire shipping professionals from a variety of backgrounds to supplement their experienced team of claims handlers. If you have sailing experience on board vessels or experience working in a shore-based role in vessel operations, chartering or ship management, then my client will be interested to hear from you.

You do not need to have previous experience within insurance claims handling, but it is essential that you have some direct maritime experience working on or with various types of shipping vessels. You should also have a genuine interest of working within marine insurance claims and some knowledge in this area will be advantageous.

There is an excellent package available and the salary will be dependent on your experience.
