As a member on our team you will…Providing day-to-day maintenance of all electronics, computers, audio/visual and communications equipment. Assisting with software implementation and systems configuration and upgrades as needed. - by:
- Working to ensure that the installed A/V, data, and telecommunications systems are in a state of constant readiness and assisting with the upgrading and maintenance of all operational based production equipment.
- Exhibiting creative and challenging problem solving skills in systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ensuring that all planned maintenance work takes place on these systems and co-ordinates operations with shore-side technicians
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Vast AV / IT experience: Must be knowledgeable in the design of A/V and LAN/WAN routing systems. Understands how to integrate networking and A/V protocols and systems.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, and Windows.
- Experience using Internet software and e-mail, advanced telecommunications, network connectivity, PC client, and software troubleshooting skills.
- Previous experience working in the marine industry (large yacht or commercial ship experience preferred)
- The ability to working independently and as part of a team on larger projects
