Job Description Management Account with Stork:

Support all financial reporting requirements to corporate office, and to local management

Tasks and Responsibilities As Management Accountant
 
Consolidation of all Financials for UK & Africa business at Contract Level

  • Maintains consolidated view of financial results by business unit and contract
  • Maintains financials by Product Line
  • Flash report by Business Unit at month end in projects and consolidated EBITDA for region
  • Reflects forecasts received to give projected view of the financial results
  • Calculation and posting of allocations for production support to projects
  • Generates templates and populates data for Monthly Financial Reviews and for Monthly presentation to Business Board. 

Reconciliations

  • Reconciliation of consolidated financial results to financial reporting system (SFM).
  • Ensures that all financial data present to the UK & Africa Business Board is accurate and reflects numbers reported to the Board of Management

Integrity of Supplementary Data

  • Manages completion of supplementary data that is input to the financial reporting system HSEQ and billability data
  • Uploads Product Line and Order book data to financial reporting system (Hyperion)
  • Review of information to ensure compliance with Corporate Language and agreed processes
  • Maintains FDM to enable automatic uploads of supplementary data to Financial Management system

Internal Reporting

  • Produce monthly analysis reports on overhead and production support spend compared to both budget and forecast
  • Hold regular reviews with budget holders to understand variances and generate future forecasts
  • Manage the completion of the annual overhead budgets through reviews with department managers

Management of Budget Process

  • Plans the annual budget process to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Communicates with all affected parties to ensure that sufficient data is collected to enable an accurate budget can be completed
  • Ensures adherence to all accounting assumptions and instruction issued by Corporate
  • Population of the financial management system of all data, and completion of all budget presentations as required

  • Attend & contribute to health and safety training and briefs.
  • Assist in maintaining own and others’ health and safety.
  • Contribute to a culture of HSEQ improvement.
  • Support quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Education

  • Professional Accountancy desirable

Experience

  • Experience in working with in a finance department
  • Good working knowledge of excel
  • Hyperion
