Fleet Cell Liaison Manager – Permanent – Hamburg – Competitive package

This is an excellent opportunity to join an International shipping company based in Hamburg.

The purpose of this role is to provide excellent communication and coordination between, Fleet Manager, Superintendents & the Purchasing / Procurement teams to drive compliance of purchases and robust solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Create and promote an environment where company values are known, understood and evident in every task, communication and business relationship whether internal or external
• Understand global purchasing arrangements with access to rebate visibility to drive decision making with Fleet Managers.
• Interact with Ship Owners to make them aware of offer and capability, whilst enhancing relationships further.
• Managing compliance to central deals
• Analyse and drive information
• Define, monito and report category KPI’s and financials

Experience required:

• Excellent communications skills
• Experience working in technical ship management
• Marine purchasing experience (highly desirable)
• Fluency in English
• Strong influencing skills
