Technical Sales and Engineering Support Technician

I am working with a marine electronic equipment specialist in Portsmouth who are looking for a Technical Sales and Engineering Support Technician to join the team.  This is an important position bridging the gap between design and installation.

Responsibilities:

• Compilation of technical documents, diagrams and schematics
• Creating product manuals
• Technical liaison to customers
• Assistance with installation advice
• Perform internal test procedures

Requirements:

• Hands on experience in any of the following environments: Electrical/Electronic workshops; manufacturing or production facility; service; test laboratory or repairs role/facility.
• Excellent communication and team working skills
• Analytical and numerical skills
• Very strong IT skills (including Autocad or similar)
• Hold a relevant qualification in an Electrical/ Electronic engineering discipline (BTEC/ HNC/ ONC/ HND)
• An ability to meet strict deadlines
