Pool Accountant – Amsterdam – Permanent
An excellent opportunity has come available with a reputable ship management company for a pool accountant to join their team in Amsterdam.
As the pool accountant you will complement the finance team in managing the tanker fleet for the group and their clients. Some of your key responsibilities will include processing incoming and outgoing invoices for the pool, prepare weekly cash forecasts, reconcile balance sheet accounts and the analysis of post port expenses all while reporting back monthly figures to stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role and previous experience using Danaos and exposure to the shipping industry is a major advantage. You will need to be proficient in communicating in English and extremely organised in meeting strict deadlines.
