Technical Manager (Passenger) – Permanent – London – Competitive package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable management company based in London.

You will provide technical management and support to assigned vessels with the managed fleet.

Responsibilities include:

• Technical management of assigned vessels including; Yachts, Passenger Yachts and Passenger ships
• Adhere to all approved technical, safety and security procedures
• Provide interpretation of class rules and other related regulations
• Assist with arranging dry dockings & refits
• Undertake regular technical inspections on board and ensure all items raised during inspections are clearly reported and followed up.

Experience Required:

• Shore side superintendent experience or similar role would be beneficial
• Previous experience of passenger ships is essential, knowledge or experience of passenger yachts or large yachts would be beneficial
• Sound knowledge of class, flag, ISM/ISPS, SOLAS, Passenger Yacht Code, Large Yacht Code
• Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to travel worldwide
• Ideally living within commutable distance of London
