Fleet Electrical Superintendent

I am looking for a Fleet Electrical Superintendent to join a marine company in Essex. You will have overall responsibility for all fleet electro technical matters including equipment, procedures and relevant legislation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support relating to Electrical and Electronic system matters to the fleet
• Monitor and ensure electrical engineering is operated safely and in accordance with best industry practice and company policy across the fleet
• Identify and rectify actual and potential issues
• Inform and instruct shipboard ETO’s
• Ensure technical instructions, checklists and procedures are current and correct for each company vessel
• Undertake training for the role when necessary
• When required, take on Duty Superintendent duties
• Be available as a member of the Marine Operations Emergency Response Team
• Any other duties required for this position

Requirements:

• Must have sailed as ETO or Electrical Officer OR have an HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering with Offshore experience with electro technical bias
• It would be beneficial to have a knowledge of cable working operations and shipboard systems including HV distribution systems
