Job Description Onshore Maintenance Focal Point with Stork:
The FM/CUI Planner is an individual contributor responsible for planning detailed Work Orders for all FM/CUI activities while accounting for safety/health/environmental factors, reliability, and cost in support of a particular asset.

Tasks And Responsibilities As Onshore Maintenance Focal Point:

Primary Role Deliverables:

  • Development of optimised work packages to be executed by offshore teams
  • Champion continuous improvement of Maintenance Execution process
  • Maintain, share and present key data to drive fabric maintenance delivery and performance
  • Identify and initiate Management of Change where applicable
  • SAP competent for all required transaction and reports
  • Rough cut schedule of PM/CM work scope
  • Deliver commercially accountable work as required managing cost and schedule risks for all parties.Reports to: Please See Current Departmental Organisation Chart
  • Experienced team player capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Effective organisation skills, time management and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Must have proficiency in standing software packages including MS Work, Excel, SAP CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) and Primavera.
  • Must be willing to build expertise in Shell systems, W-IMS, W-ECM, SAP CMMS and Primavera scheduling tools.
  • Must be proficient in scheduling and maintenance planning fundamentals.
  • Ability to develop and foster positive working relationships with Maintenance team members, asset leadership, and all asset-based personnel is a necessity.
  • Effectively interface with other Work Processes (ESP/MoC/MEC) and support facility Discipline Engineers and offshore Maintenance team as required. 
  • Daily interface with offshore teams and (as required), FM lead and offshore leadership to ensure progress and remove blockers
  • Regular interface with maintenance manager discipline engineers and FM Delivery Engineer with respect to progress
  • Responsibility for delivery of scope set in 3-month plan and any emergent work within bed and budget constraints set by the facility maintenance manager/focal point
  • Demonstrate active management of HSE, cost and schedule risk as appropriate
  • Responsibility for meeting or exceeding delivery requirements, targets and norms set as part of commercially accountable workscopes.

HSEQ

  • Demonstrate exemplary behaviour to positively contribute to Stork’s safety culture
  • Ensure occupational health processes are adhered to, both during the work preparation phase and the execution phase.
  • Effectively communicate best practices and HSSEQ information with the execution teams.
  • Conduct site visits and audits to verify site compliance to quality standards and procedures.
  • Capture and record best practices, recommendations and lessons learned and contribute to continuously improve the performance.
  • Ensure all Fabric Maintenance on Safety critical equipment is identified and properly controlled

FIANCE

  • The planning, monitoring and control of budgets and project expenditure for their scopes.
  • Review and approve CTR’s complied by project engineers (UK OPS and/or UK OPS support).
  • Compile and approve CTR’s relating to contractual / managerial scopes (i.e. year budgets / stocks), or multidiscipline or complex scopes
  • Review and monitor the monthly forecast to reflect the latest estimate for the assigned scopes.
  • Contribute towards the compilation of the budget for the coming year.
  • Review and approve invoices to ensure correct and accurate invoices are submitted to the client, facilitating prompt payments. 

Job requirements

DELIVERY

  • Accountable for overall delivery of assigned scopes to client requirements and expectations.
  • Ensuring the project scope of work is executed and documented in accordance with Stork agreed processes and procedures.
  • The main focal point and liaison between Stork and the client for their scopes.
  • Maintaining close liaison with their line manager, providing regular updates on project activities and performance.
  • Developing and implementing the strategy for their scopes including planning, commercial and technical aspects.
  • Delivering relevant performance KPI’s within the project.
  • Reviews and approves material / plant / equipment requests to meet requirements of the scope, budget and plan.
  • Deliver range of services meeting client expectations and requirements as set out in the contract and/or quality plan.
  • Approve personnel mobilisations to ensure competent and qualified people, suitable for the task are sent out to execute the scope.
  • Effectively identify resource requirements and deploy/request as required to liquidate all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure plant and equipment in use is certified, and back loaded upon completion of the scope.
  • Contribute to the duty rota to ensure 24/7 duty of care and emergency response
  • Convert all required Notifications to Awaiting approval to the correct standard and lifecycle
  • Minimise any rework by ensuring quality work order data. 
  • MOC- Understand the principles of management of change.
  • Work Identification and Prioritisation- Able to create a work order from a notification ensuring the correct equipment information, CMPT ranking and relevant codes are included and verified.
  • Work and resource preparation- Create electronic work packs in CMMS (SAP) to a standard that allows the offshore execution teams to complete work tasks within budget and target finish date.
  • Understand the turnaround preparation and planning process. Ensure work that has shutdown requirements are included in the correct shutdown network.
  • Work and resource scheduling- Able to create capacity overview for the asset and load in CMMS. Rough cut approved work orders based on LAFD and material/vendor constraints. Raise Z6 notifications wherever anomalies are found to continuously improve the SAP CMMS.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Management of site personnel and ensuring the best utilisation of resources.
  • Support recruitment and selection of project personnel.
  • Conduct disciplinary investigations for own contract staff and staff assigned to other contracts to support and uphold company core values in line with the company’s policy and procedure.
  • Ensure compliance to the training and competence procedures of the company. 
  • Encourage the growth and development of project staff by appropriate delegation of responsibility, without loss of accountability.
  • May be line manager to a number of project team members and may carry out PP&D and performance reviews in line with company standards. See differentiating factors below.

Essential

  • Engineering, technical, quality or commercial background/qualification

  • HND/Degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.

 
Experience

  • Member of a project team
  • Demonstrated experience in interfacing with clients.
  • Previous experience in a project engineering role 

Desirable 

  • Previous experience in fabric maintenance
  • Previous experience in oil and gas industry
  • Knowledge of Stork and/or client Business Management Systems
  • Relevant industry experience
