Fleet Spares & Stores Officer (LNG) - Permanent - London - £26,000-£35,000

A leading LNG shipping company with a global presence is recruiting for a Fleet Spares & Stores Officer to join their team in London.

This position is the main contact responsible for a dedicated number of assigned vessels within the Company's Managed Fleet and will ensure the cost effective and timely supplies of main line commodities, Stores (Quarterly) Spares (OEM) and Services for the assigned vessels.

Key reponsibilites include;

• Reviewing vessel requisitions for compliance.
• Processing all requisitions on a daily basis.
• Verifing and approving vendor invoices on a regular basis.
• Evaluating submitted quotations for compliance.
• Arranging shipments in a timely, cost efficient and scheduled manner.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar role in the Shipping industry, have knowledge of ShipNET and, preferably, knowledge and experience with a purchasing software package.

You will also be an excellent communicator and possess strong problem solving skills.
