Job Description Payroll Administrator with Stork:

To support in the overall delivery of the Group’s business objectives, whilst implementing departmental procedures in line with Company standards. Responsible for the timely preparation of the weekly and monthly payroll.

Tasks And Responsibilities As Payroll Administrator:

General payroll process

  • Accurate input, preparation and checking of the weekly payroll and time-writing systems including adjustments for SSP, SMP, SPP, arrestments etc
  • Ensuring correct allocation of costs for all entities.
  • Controlling the holiday accrual for weekly staff.
  • Maintenance of payroll records.
  • Handling employee queries.
    New starters and leavers
  • The control of documentation required for new starts/leavers
  • Control of all paperwork required for joiners / leavers i.e P45’s

General Housekeeping

  • Printing, sealing and sending pay slips as required
  • Ensure project payroll manuals are relevant, up to date and are used at all times.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Data Protection guidelines.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies and institutions.

HSEQ

  • Attend & contribute to health and safety training and briefs.
  • Assist in maintaining own and others’ health and safety.
  • Contribute to a culture of HSEQ improvement.
  • Support quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Execute work safely and reliably and to a quality standard.
  • Ensure you are adequately trained to carry out the job.

Requirements For Payroll Administrator:

Specific Requirements For Payroll Administrator:
 

  • Basic Payroll knowledge including SSP, student loans etc.
  • Some payroll administration experience
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
