2nd Officer (Safety) - RoPax

We are looking to recruit an experienced 2nd Officer Safety to join a RoPax vessel sailing between Cork and Santander. Due to vessel location, candidates must hold either a valid EU passport or have a permit to work in the EU.

Experience:

Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year sea time in rank and hold a Safety Officer certificate.

Ro-Pax experience is mandatory.

• STCW Advanced MN Fire Fighting
• STCW Fast Rescue Boat
• STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities
• STCW Personal Survival Techniques
• STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boat
• STCW Security Awareness
• Valid ENG1 Medical
• Bridge Team Management
• Passenger, Cargo Safety & Hull Integrity
• Generic ECDIS
• Medical First Aid
• Shipboard Security Officer

Preferable Certification includes:

• Crowd Management
• ECDIS Type Specific Transas
• Passenger Safety Training
