Marine Superintendent

A well-established shipping group in Asia is looking for a Marine Superintendent. The candidate's main role is to ensure safe operations of the vessels and that all international marine requirements are followed. The candidate should be able to assist in the implementation and upkeep of the Safety Management System. The candidate should conduct regular ship inspections to ensure compliance to the requirements of the International Safety Management (ISM) code and International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) code and to analyse risks and ensure compliance to the organisation's risk management framework.

Candidates with minimum Class 1 of COC with capacity served on board vessel as Chief Officer / Master and knowledge in Shipboard ISM / ISPS code, SOLAS, MARPOL, Marine Operations and Seamanship is preferred.
