Vessel Systems Analyst

BBG Management Corporation has an opportunity for a Vessel Systems Analyst in Ottawa, ON.

An ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a marine or naval environment, this position will involve analysis and documentation of the maintenance procedures associated with mechanical or electrical systems aboard a ship or vessel. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of technical publications and training programs
• Assist in the conduct of reliability prediction, failure mode effects, and criticality analysis
• Assist with development of labor hour per cost estimates
• Assist with reliability centered maintenance analysis

Requirements:

• 1 - 3 years of experience in a marine, naval or shipbuilding environment
• Knowledge of vessel systems (electrical and/or mechanical)
• Knowledge of the maintenance procedures associated with the electrical and/or mechanical systems
• Excellent analysis and documentation skills
• Experience with application of PSA on equipment/systems
• Canadian Navy / Coast Guard experience is an asset
• Eligible to meet requirements for Canadian security clearance
