Technical Superintendent

Our client, one of the world's largest shipping lines, is looking for an experienced Technical Superintendent focusing on part of their container ships located in Singapore.

The core responsibilities involves supervising the operations and monitor vessel condition and ship's staff compliance with management policies, international, state or local Maritime regulations and to liaise directly with the Fleet Management, responding to any charter or technical and operational questions.

You will also be responsible for the classifications societies and the Flag administration and preparing and organising the maintenance and repairs during ship's trade and building up and filing he damages cases in relation with the Legal department.

As a Technical Superintendent, you should be able to prepare dry-docking specifications, evaluating tender documents and manage the vessel dry-dock.

Requirements

• Technical competent with Microsoft Office
• Analysis and synthesis skills
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Experience as deep sea CE with slow speed propulsion preferred
