Job Description Technical Sales Manager with Stork:

Realization of the regional Sales Account Strategy and ensure implementation by developing strategic accounts, retaining clients and build and strengthen relations, in line with global and regional Sales and Marketing strategy, in order to ensure long term strategic account relations and contribute to the realization of commercial objectives.

Tasks And Responsibilities As Technical Sales Manager:

Acquisition

  • Detect and realize new business opportunities and develop cross and up-selling opportunities with existing clients in cooperation with other functional disciplines
  • Sells full STORK portfolio
  • Build, maintain and expand the network within the regional/local Stork client
  • Shapes new opportunities, acquire RFI’s, RFQ’s, orders and further develop business volumes
  • Convert RFQ into an annual sales with a predefined gross margin
  • Maximize sales volume into new or existing markets.

Connecting skills and people management

  • Capacity to build internal trust and alignment between regional disciplines and functions; especially operations and sales
  • Maintain and support local delivery of operations to improve margins in existing contracts

Account Management

  • Ensure building, maintaining and expanding a network of (new) relations within the regional account
  • Collect account information and understands all aspects of the regional/local account
  • Analyze external developments and identify market trends and customer needs
  • Ensure execution of the specific contact mix for the account, in close cooperation with operations, (Global) Sales& Marketing and (if applicable) Business- or product lines
  • Ensure realization of the approved account strategy
  • Advise the VP Sales and the Regional Account director on account/sales strategy and activities.

Education

  • Higher vocational/ Bachelor with technical background
  • Conceptual thinking

Experience

  • Single-site client experience

Skills

  • 5-10 years’ experience in sales and account management
  • Oil & Gas or industry background
  • Capacity to build internal trust and alignment between internal business units and disciplines and functions
