Job Description Services Foreman with Stork:

Overall responsibility for leading and managing Stork services onboard the asset as part of the core team consisting of scaffolders and riggers. All responsibile for any ad hoc upmans of additional Stork product lines and/ or vendor companies in support of platform operations. The Services Supervisor shall ensure that all work is performed safely, to the required standard and as per plan to ensure effective service delivery.

All operations within their responsibilities shall be executed in line with company, client and legislative requirements.

Particular focus, as part of a scaffolding team, for supervising the erection of scaffolds which are adequate for the purpose they were intended and comply with Stork scaffold procedure / TG20:13; ensuring that they are stable and in a safe condition. He is also responsible, for supervising the dismantling of scaffolds in a safe manner.

Also responsible for the inspection of the scaffold on completion, and thereafter at weekly intervals, and to verify that the structure has been erected in the correct manner. It is their responsibility to provide work face supervision & ensure that plant and equipment is maintained on a regular and daily basis throughout the workscope duration, being a key member as part of the team to deliver a high standard of work on project completion.

Capable of carrying out basic rigging techniques in a safe manner using a mix of rigging skills.

  • To effectively Lead and Manage all Stork Resources in line with client requirements
  • To deliver a safe, consistently high standard and to plan operation
  • To support overall delivery of company goals
  • To own relevant processes and procedures and implement/influence change where required to improve delivery and efficiency
  • To ensure all operations are conducted in line with company, client and legislative requirements
  • To develop a high performing team to include succession planning
  • To provide accurate and detailed reporting of task progress in support ongoing planning
  • To drive change where required

Specific Requirements For Services Foreman:

Essential:

  • CISRS Advanced Scaffold Card (Or approved alternative)
  • OPITO Approved Rigger Stage1 (working towards Stage 3)
  • Core 5 years supervisory experience within the relevant sector
  • Trade Skills Screening
  • Supervisory Experience

Desirable:

  • SMTD Foundation Supervisory Skills
  • SMTD IOSH Managing Safely
  • SMTD Performance Management
  • SMTD Leadership – Teams & Individuals
  • Alustar system scaffold training
