Shore based Chief ETO 140-m New Build in Europe - XCCM

Are you an experienced Chief ETO with prior Yard or New Build experience?
Shore based until launch early 2019 thereafter FULL ROTATION!
July 2018 Start Date!

We are seeking an experienced CETO to join this exciting new build in the shipyard in Germany. The position is currently permanent until launch in early 2019 when you will enjoy the benefits of FULL ROTATION.

PLEASE NOTE THE REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• COC III/6 - Electrical Technical Officer (mandatory)
• Qualification for High Voltage safety (mandatory)
• Passenger safety certificate (Crisis and Crowd Management) (mandatory)
• Security awareness or designated security duties certificate (mandatory)
• Valid passport (mandatory)
• Valid ENG1 (mandatory, valid 6 months)
• Valid STCW (mandatory)
• Valid SDB (mandatory)
• Vaccination card with Yellow Fever and Hep B vaccines (mandatory)
• 3 written references (mandatory)

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Previous experience in similar position on 100m+ yachts or passenger ships.
• Strong Experience with Diesel Electric Propulsion and High Voltage Power Plants
• High work ethic, consideration for details, keeping neat and tidy workplaces
• Proactive to problems and good at finding solutions under pressure
• Class/Flag surveys experience on passenger ships
• Senior Officer with team managing capabilities
• Yard and new build experience
• Knowledge of AV/IT Systems, Satellite communications and digital media broadcasts
• Able to lead electrical projects including writing detailed specs, reviewing quotes, monitoring budget, following-up work execution and final commissioning in an organized, documented and trackable way
• Working according to the highest safety and security standards (risk assessments, permits to work, work procedures, lockout-tagout, etc)
• Excellent English communication skills in order to report about technical aspects and maintain excellent relationship with working partners (yards, contractors, suppliers, superintendents, etc)

SALARY/PACKAGE:

Land based contract (until end of 2018)
Salary: € 9.000 per month
Leave: 30 paid leave days per year based on 5-day work week thereafter 182 days leave
Flights: 2 return economy flights per year
Accommodation: Single furnished apartment provided based in Bremen
