Job Description Rope Access Instrument Pipefitter with Stork:

Instrument Pipe Fitters should maintain the integrity of the small bore instrument pipe systems attached to the control instrumentation and valve actuators required to operate the production control systems on offshore installations. This will involve fault finding and repair or replacement of malfunctioning pipe work and pipe fittings. An extensive knowledge of site safety and emergency shutdown piping systems, good knowledge and appreciation of interaction between control/process & power systems, and to provide technical expertise for operation is expected when required. It is their responsibility to ensure that plant and equipment is maintained on a regular basis throughout the work scope duration, being a key member as part of the team to deliver a high standard of work on project completion.
 
 
Tasks And Responsibilities As Rope Access Instrument Pipefitter:

  • Set up / Test & operate equipment
  • Preventative maintenance on pipe systems and pipe fittings
  • Fault finnding
  • Isolation to HSE C.O.P.
  • PTW operations/compliance
  • Attending pre-mobilisation safety brief with base management
  • Arriving at the work site at the pre-arranged time
