technical superintendent : assistant DPA

Monaco based company managing one SOLAS ship and several smaller crafts.

MUST be based in or around Monaco at handy commuting distance.

One day per week maintaining the ISM / QSHE system
One day superintendency visits on board

The rest of the time is normal superintendent work:

• Following works and requisitions of the vessel
• Identifying sources of supplies and maintaining purchasing process data bases
• Controlling budgets and documenting works and supplies flows.
• Preparation of shipyard specifications, selection of contractors and yards.
• Planning budgets for future works
• Supporting the captain and chief engineer in the daily administration of technical activities on the vessel

You have an engineering degree or management level ship's engineer officer licence and previous experience of technical management activities in a small company.
