Operations Superintendent

We are on the lookout for an Operations Superintendent to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE for our client, a global Oil & Gas service company   This position would suit candidates with excellent experience working with self-propelled jack up barges within the Oil & Gas industry. In order to be successful, you will be a qualified Marine Engineer having served on these vessels. Having exposure to the operational management of these vessels from a shore-based Superintendent perspective would be beneficial but not essential.   As Operations Superintendent you will be responsible for the supervision and management of the operational and safety activities of all assigned vessels on a day to day basis.  You will also be expected to support the Fleet Manager in compiling accurate budgets for vessel operation and reporting all matters relating to repairs and maintenance of the assigned vessels.  

The Successful Applicant

• Marine Engineer with experience on Self Propelled Jack Up Barges
• Qualified Second Engineer (STCW Class III/2 CoC) or Mechanical Engineering degree
• Knowledge of planned Maintenance systems
• Previous experience creating Dry-Docking Specifications
• Good Project Management skills
• Strong Microsoft application knowledge including Excel, PowerPoint and Pproject
