Course Description

This half day training is for ship’s crew assigned to assist passengers in emergencies and covers the following learning outcomes as given in the MNTB standard.

• Awareness of shipboard lifesaving appliance and control plans.
• Ability to assist passengers en-route to muster and embarkation stations.
• Ability to carry out mustering procedures.

NB: This course can be combined with Passenger Safety and Hull Integrity for RoRo Passenger Ships and Crisis Management and Human Behaviour Training.

Upon successful completion of the course, all candidates are issued with Crowd Management Course certificate. Depending upon the employer (ship owner or manager) requirements, this certificate may need to be obtained prior to joining a ship.
