This course is accredited by SAMSA and meets the requirements of the South African Code of Maritime Qualifications and the requirements of STCW A-VI/4-2. The practical sessions are held in the trauma unit of a local hospital. Certificates are issued to successful candidates on completion.

Requirements

Candidates are to bring their ID/Passport and a valid medical first aid certificate on the 1st day of the course.

All candidates must be conversant and literate in English.

Course Information

Duration: 6 days (including 1 night at a trauma unit)

The course fee includes manuals, notes, stationery, sundry materials, tea and coffee, and a light lunch.

Additional

A minimum of 4 (four) candidates are required for the course. Refreshments and lunch are provided whilst on course.
