Our STCW’95 Ship Security Officer (SSO) course, accredited by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), is vital training for those wishing to undertake the duties of a ship security officer.?
The course is designed the meet the requirements defined by the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code and the guidance defined in the SOLAS Regulations (1974) and provides all our students with the expert knowledge from very experienced maritime trainers with tremendous operational experience, to provide students with the confidence to excel within the maritime security industry.
STCW’95 SSO is an essential course for those who wish to gain employment providing protective security on all commercial vessels, fishing vessels and ‘super yachts’.
This course allows you to access the skills and expertise that we have acquired from decades of operational experience in maritime operational tasks and delivering training on the subject matter. Our course exceeds industry requirements and has opportunities to talk with experienced maritime personnel. All training aids, equipment and hand-outs are provided.
