This course is the STCW approved course for anyone working as core crew on a merchant vessel and is accredited by the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA).

OBJECTIVES:

Delegates attending this course will gain the necessary updating skills in Fast Rescue Boat handling under the STCW 2010 amendments including launch and recovery using single arm davits and. Search and rescue and casualty recovery at sea.

Entry Requirements

They must be fit enough to carry out the practical elements of this course. And have previously completed the 5 day Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boat (other than fast rescue boat).
