Following the 2010 Manila amendements to the STCW convention, seafarers are required to update their mandatory Personal Survival Techniques every five years.

This is half a day's training combining theoretical and practical work. On successful completion, students will receive a certificate issued under the authority of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency in compliance with the STCW code.
