UPDATING PROFICIENCY IN ADVANCED FIRE FIGHTING
COURSE DELIVERED OVER 2-HOUR WEBINAR SESSIONS

Prerequisites:

Must hold a valid STCW Advance Fire Fighting Certificate and have completed the STCW 2010 Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Certification. Must be over 16 years of age.

Overview:

This course is part of the mandatory updating certification requirements under the STCW 2010 amendments for all seafarers with designated safety duties who hold an advance firefighting certificate. This course will provide the delegate with the necessary refresher training under the STCW 2010 amendments for Advance Fire Fighting.
This is a theoretical class room based course; and it covers a range of subjects. It deals with firefighting procedures, communication and coordination, ventilation control, fire precautions, management and control of injured persons, procedure for communicating with shore side fire fighter.

Award:

Upon completion of the course you will be presented with an MCA approved STCW certificate.
