This 3 week - 120 Hour course is a great way to acquire or strengthen the base knowledge and understanding of the work on Deck, and therefore is the perfect course to start a professional deckhand/seafarer ‘s career on Super Yachts and Cruise Ships. 

Theory is always followed by practice, making this class very practical and efficient, and giving the student the necessary tools to deal with real life situations at sea.

Each week brings new topics and emphasizes on the critical parts of the job, such as Safety and Navigation.

At the end of it, successful students become USCG certified holders of an Ordinary Seaman Merchant Mariner Credential (OS MMC) and STCW Basic Safety Training Certificate. They also get all the classroom knowledge (including simulator practice) and official testing to automatically acquire the USCG Rating Forming Part of a Navigational Watch (RFPNW) qualification during their 1st year of work as an OS (180 days of documented sea service).

Certificate holders will have the advantage of standing out to recruiters and owners in the industry. The course is taught by instructors with decades of Navigation experience on passenger vessels and are all holders of unlimited STCW deck licenses.
