Curso teórico y práctico que capacita al alumno para controlar y coordinar las operaciones de lucha contra incendios a bordo, con énfasis en la organización, tácticas y mando. Y lo instruye para manejar los diferentes tipos de extintores, mangueras y tipos de lanzas, bocas de incendio y equipos de respiración autónoma. Así mismo, al finalizar el curso, estará capacitado para actuar en casos de fuego de combustibles sólidos, líquidos y gaseosos, rescate de víctimas y fuegos en cuadros eléctricos entre otros.

El curso es homologado en España por la DGMM, Dirección General de la Marina Mercante y en el Reino Unido por la MCA, Maritime and Coastguard Agency.

Dirigido a capitanes, oficiales y tripulantes con deberes específicos y responsabilidades asignadas en relación con la carga o el equipo de carga en la embarcación y en general al personal que forma parte de los equipos de intervención de los planes de emergencia a bordo. Es además uno de los certificados de especialidad necesarios para obtener el Patrón Profesional de embarcaciones de recreo (PPER).

Theoretical and practical course that enables the student to control and coordinate firefighting operations on board, with emphasis on organization, tactics and command. And it instructs you to handle the different types of extinguishers, hoses and types of spears, fire hydrants and self-contained breathing apparatus. Also, at the end of the course, will be trained to act in cases of fire of solid, liquid and gaseous fuels, rescue victims and fires in electrical panels among others.

The course is approved in Spain by the DGMM, General Directorate of the Merchant Navy and in the United Kingdom by the MCA, Maritime and Coastguard Agency.

Directed to captains, officers and crew with specific duties and assigned responsibilities in relation to cargo or cargo equipment in the vessel and in general to the personnel that is part of the intervention teams of emergency plans on board.
