Deputy Chief Security - Cruise

A major cruise line is looking for Deputy Chief Security Officers to join the team onboard their large fleet of ships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security staff and guards to ensure effective onboard security operations.
• Responsible for security and safety related training for security personnel.
• Supervise gangway operations and assigned gangway staff, ensuring compliance with security procedures.
• Implement and strictly adhere to the Ship Security Plan at all times.
• Maintain order, discipline, and appropriate conduct throughout the vessel.
• Conduct regular and thorough security inspections to identify and address potential risks.
• Carry out additional duties as required within the scope of the role.

Requirements

• Experience as a Chief/Deputy Security Officer with seagoing experience. Cruise ship experience preferred but other vessels are accepted.
• Valid STCW Basic Safety training and Designated Security Duties/Ship Security Officer certification.
• A high level of English.
