DPA & Technical Manager (Yachts) – Permanent – Florida, USA – Competitive package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable yacht management company based for their office in South Florida.

As a Technical Manager and DPA, your purpose will be two-fold. You will act as a Company DPA & CSO ensuring the safe and compliant operation of each yacht. You will also ensure the technical contractual deliverables for your fleet of yachts are met, while providing technical and compliance support to the crew and internal management team.

Experience Required:

Ideally you will have sailed as Chief Engineer and have some shore-based experience as Class Surveyor, or Superintendent. Candidates coming straight from sea will also be considered. Being a qualified ISM & ISPS auditor is highly desirable.

You will have strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and build strong relationships with crew and colleagues

Ability to work effectively under pressure

Strong leadership skills

Flexibility to travel frequently

You must have the right to live and work in the US to be considered (US Citizen, Permanent resident, or Green Card holder)
