Financial Planning & Reporting Manager (Shipping) - Permanent - Middle East - Competitive
An internationally renowned organisation with the world's largest fleet of LNG vessels, is recruiting for a Financial Planning and Reporting Manager to join the team in the Middle East.
The key responsibility is to manage all related financial planning and reporting activities and to be responsible for supporting top management by providing critical analysis and insights to create impact at a strategical level.
Other key duties will include (not limited to);
- Leading the continuous improvement and streamlining the financial management processes including monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
- Leading the budgeting process and the preparation of the financial statements of the Company and its joint ventures.
- Critically examine budget estimates received from respective divisions, joint venture partnerships etc. for correctness, completeness and conformance with established procedures, regulations and organizational objectives.
- Managing preparation, review and submission of Annual Tax Returns per Qatari Tax Law, UK Tax and UK VAT for entities including subsidiaries and JVs.
- Performing complex financial analysis and preparing presentations for Board and Executive Teams.
The successful individual will have a proven work history in a similar capacity and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. You will also have a Master’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
To be considered for this role, the individual must have advanced knowledge and experience in financing compliance rules and procedures and knowledge of knowledge of SAP modules such as FICO, PS, MM, PM and HR.

All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
