New Build Site Superintendent – Public Areas & Cabins

I am working with a cruise line company who are seeking a new build superintendent to join their team, this position will be a fixed-term contract that will end August 2020

For the role the company is seeking a New build Superintendent with experience in public areas and cabins. You will have extensive experience with cruise vessels as well as being able to communicate with other members of the business as well as working alongside the design and management team as well as shipboard personnel who will support the build.

You will bring a high degree of shipbuilding experience, the ability to lead the technical discipline on-site, commercial awareness, negotiation of issues with the Shipyard to support the companies aims. You’ll also assist to set up and run office systems and processes under your expert area.

The company is seeking the following:

• Knowledge and experience in technical outfitting in hotel areas, incl. other hotel service areas would be an advantage
• Shipyard / shipboard / classification societies / other regulatory bodies experience
• Architectural Design Engineer, Hotel Architect, Hotel Areas Inspector or equivalent
• Able to drive change quickly
• Modern cruise shipbuilding experience as owner’s representative

The company is seeking someone to start as soon as possible and this will be on a contract till the end of August 2020.
