In-House Recruitment Specialist (Canal & River Trust) – 6 Months FTC- Competitive – London or Milton Keynes
Due to continued expansion, The Canal & River Trust are recruiting for an In-House Recruitment Specialist to join the team either in Little Venice, London or in Milton Keynes on an initial 6 months fixed term contract.
Reporting to the London and South East Regional HR Business Partner, this role will be working with the In-House Recruitment Team to manage and support all recruitment activity for the team.
Duties will include;
- Devising a recruitment strategy and approach for current vacancies for the entire recruitment life-cycle
- Building relationships with local and specialist agencies
- Undertaking analysis to inform future planning and strategy
- Creating recruitment adverts and promotional materials to maximise attraction to CRT’s roles
- Working closely with the HR Business Partner and Recruitment Manager to ensure that activities are aligned with the regional people plan and strategy.
- Carrying out analysis of turnover and recruitment data to provide business insight and perform action planning.
- Ensuring that diversity and inclusion are integrated into all aspects of Trust life.
The ideal candidate will have excellent telephone, verbal and written communication skills and have experience in developing a variety of recruitment strategies and approaches.
You will have excellent planning skills, excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills within a defined framework, be able to work in a team and autonomously and have a very strong customer service mind-set.
You will also have experience of recruiting within the London and South East region and have the ability to provide targeted response to overcome market factors.

Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
